Age Restrictions & Alcohol Policy

We want everyone to have a great (and safe) time at the festival, so please take a moment to read our age policy carefully.

If you’re lucky enough to look under 25, you may be asked to show ID to prove you’re 18 or over. Please don’t be offended — this helps us stay compliant with licensing laws.

Alcohol is strictly for guests aged 18+. You’ll need to show valid ID at any bar or restaurant on site. If you’re unable to provide acceptable proof of age, our staff won’t be able to serve you.

Accepted forms of ID:

  • A valid passport (original copies only)

  • An in-date photocard driving licence (full or provisional)

  • PASS card

    Unfortunately, we can’t accept any other forms of identification.

Guests under 18 are very welcome but must be accompanied by a Responsible Adult at all times while inside Thameside Social site. The accompanying adult is responsible for ensuring that under 18s do not consume alcohol.

Please note that it is strictly prohibited for anyone to purchase or attempt to purchase alcohol on behalf of someone under 18.
